A college building constructed with no ceilings or acoustic control whatsoever, staff had problems with the acoustics from day one as the concrete structure is exposed

An acoustician proposed a certain amount of acoustically rated rafts be installed within each room. However every room layout was different and the rafts had to be installed between the existing services where space could be found. Eventually we managed to fit an amount of rafts within each room and the difference was noticeable immediately

All in all the client is delighted with the solution, a genuinely bespoke, if somewhat Heath Robinson, project
